Welcome to my website!

My name is Ryan Cadman and for years people have been telling me to make a website. Well, here it is!

I update this website with what I'm up to, things I learn, coney island hot dogs I eat, and just about anything I think is interesting or fun.

Please be patient with me as this website is actively changing. I am building it entirely in HTML, which I learned from exactly one class I took in college. I love simple websites that load quickly so this is my best attempt!

I do photography and people say I'm good at it!

My primary method involves old film cameras and a refusal to acknowledge the current century’s fashion trends. When I am hired to photograph an event, I arrive dressed for any decade requested. It is not a costume; it is a commitment.

The result is usually a mix of high-quality imagery and localized confusion. I am not opposed to digital photography, provided we can both overlook the lack of a crank. If this sounds appealing or troubling in an interesting way, you should probably email me at rycadman@gmail.com

The first thing most people notice about me is that I dress like a time traveler. Sometimes it’s 1920s. Sometimes it’s 1972. Sometimes it’s unclear even to me. I research, source, and assemble historically informed clothing for myself and others.
